Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Hubtub Network FZ-LLC (“HubTub,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our website and creator services (together, the “Service”).

1. Who We Are

HubTub acts as the data controller for personal information collected through the Service. Questions about this Policy can be sent to privacy@hubtub.io.

2. Information We Collect

Account data

Name, email address, and any profile information you provide when registering.

Channel & analytics data

When you connect a YouTube channel, we receive data via the YouTube API Services: channel identifiers, title and picture, subscriber, view and video counts, country and most-viewed public videos. With your permission, we also receive YouTube Analytics reports for your channel: views and watch time by month, aggregated audience demographics (country, age group, gender), traffic sources, content types and, where you grant the revenue permission, estimated revenue; and, where you grant the channel audit permission, whether the channel is in good standing (Community Guidelines, copyright strikes, Content ID claims).

When you connect a channel to apply to the HubTub network, HubTub staff review this data to evaluate your application and to propose and administer your partnership terms. It is shown only to you and to HubTub staff, and is never sold or used for advertising. Analytics and audit data is kept while your application is under review and deleted if it has not been refreshed within 30 days, in line with the YouTube API Services policies. You can revoke HubTub’s access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

HubTub Pulse

HubTub Pulse is a free analytics app in your HubTub account. When you connect a channel to Pulse, we receive, with your permission, the YouTube data described above: channel identifiers, title, picture and counts, the titles, lengths and upload dates of its most-viewed videos, and YouTube Analytics reports (views, watch time and subscribers gained and lost by day and by month, audience demographics, traffic sources, content types, the most-viewed videos with their views, watch time, average view duration and percentage viewed, likes, comments, shares and subscribers gained, and, where you grant the revenue permission, estimated revenue), and, where you grant the audit permission, the channel’s standing. For the channels an AI assistant connected to Pulse can read (see “Connecting an AI assistant” below), we also receive the audience retention of the most-viewed videos and their thumbnail impressions and click-through rate by day. We use this data only to show these reports to you in Pulse, in its weekly summary email, in its channel alerts, which you can turn off, and, if you connect one, in your AI assistant (see “Connecting an AI assistant” below). A channel connected to Pulse is not an application to the HubTub network, and HubTub staff do not view its reports unless you turn on “HubTub offers” in Pulse: then our team sees the reports of the channels you connected yourself (not those others share with you) to propose network terms, until you turn it off. Otherwise we only count how Pulse is used (for example, how many channels are connected). If you apply to the HubTub network from Pulse, your application is handled as described above.

If you accept another Pulse user’s invitation and connect your channel, you choose to let that person see the channel’s reports in their Pulse — or, for an invitation sent on behalf of a Pulse team, every member of that team, including people who join it later. You can close their access at any time on the channel’s page in Pulse, and it ends at once; someone who leaves or is removed from a team stops seeing its channels at once. Pulse reports are refreshed daily; a copy that has not been refreshed within 30 days is deleted, and a channel’s reports are deleted when you remove it from Pulse or revoke HubTub’s access.

If you choose to open your Pulse table in Google Sheets, we ask Google for permission to create files in your Google Drive. This permission covers only the files HubTub creates: we cannot see or open your other files. We use it once, to create a spreadsheet with the Pulse table you see, and we do not keep the access.

Connecting an AI assistant. You can connect Pulse to an AI assistant you use, such as Claude or ChatGPT, through HubTub’s connector for AI assistants (it uses the Model Context Protocol). You start the connection in your assistant and confirm it on a HubTub page that lists what the assistant will be able to read. Once connected, the assistant can read, when you ask it to, the Pulse reports of the channels you connected to Pulse yourself and of channels other Pulse users share with you whose owners allowed it (see below), including estimated revenue and standing only where those permissions were granted. The connector is read-only: it cannot change anything in Pulse, in your HubTub account or on YouTube, and it serves the reports Pulse already keeps rather than requesting new data from YouTube. When your assistant requests a report, we send it to the assistant’s provider, which handles it under its own terms and privacy policy, not ours; some providers, for example, use conversations to improve their models unless you turn this off in your settings. You can see and disconnect your assistants at any time on the “Connected AI” page in Pulse: a disconnected assistant loses access at once, and a connection not used for 90 days is closed automatically. For security, we keep a record of each connection (the assistant’s name, when it was connected and last used) and of each request (what was read, for which channel and when) for 90 days.

Letting others read your channel through their AI assistants. On a channel’s page in Pulse, or when you accept an invitation, you can allow the people you share that channel with (a person, or the members of a Pulse team) to read its reports through their own AI assistants. It is off unless you turn it on. When it is on, their assistants’ providers receive the reports they ask for, under those providers’ own terms. You can turn it off at any time on the channel’s page, and it takes effect at once.

Verification (KYC) data

Before your first withdrawal, and again whenever your payout details change, we verify your identity through an identity verification provider. For this and to process payouts, we collect identity documents, date of birth, and payment details (such as bank or e-wallet information) as required for anti-fraud and anti-money laundering compliance.

Usage data

IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and pages visited, collected automatically as you use our website.

How you found us

When you sign up through a link on hubtub.io, we record with your account how you reached us: the campaign tags on that link (such as utm_source or a Google Ads click ID), the site that referred you and the hubtub.io page you came from (they are kept in the meantime as described in our Cookie Policy). We use this to understand which pages and campaigns bring creators to HubTub; it does not rely on analytics cookies. A short label of it (such as “google / cpc”) is also sent to Google Analytics when you sign up and when your channel is connected and approved: if you accepted analytics cookies, together with your analytics identifier and your HubTub account number; if not, only as a count under a random identifier that is not linked to you. We also count visits to hubtub.io by the same kinds of source, in aggregate, without cookies or any identifier.

Communications data

Records of your correspondence with our support team, including the files you attach.

If you write to us through a form on hubtub.io without an account (for example, a company asking about its content), we receive what you enter: your name and role, your work email and any messenger handle, the company’s details, and what you tell us about the content, the rights and your YouTube channels. We use it to answer you and to see whether we can work together.

Support assistant

When you write to support in your dashboard, an AI assistant may answer first on behalf of our team. It is powered by Claude, provided by Anthropic, PBC, which processes this data as our service provider under its commercial terms and does not use it to train its models. To write a reply, the assistant receives the messages in your request and its topic, your first name and dashboard language, the date you joined, the status of your channel applications (with the reason we gave if one was declined), whether you use HubTub Pulse and HubTub offers, and how many other requests you have open. It does not receive your YouTube channel data, your payout or legal details, or the files you attach. To answer questions about YouTube itself, it may search Google’s and YouTube’s public help pages; no personal data goes into those searches. Every reply it writes is marked in your dashboard as written by an AI assistant, our team sees every conversation and can take it over at any time, and questions about money, identity verification, your agreement or account security, as well as any request to talk to a person, go to our team.

3. Google API Services & Limited Use Disclosure

HubTub's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only use YouTube channel data to provide and improve features that are visible to you within the Service, for security purposes (such as investigating abuse), and to comply with applicable law. We do not use this data for advertising purposes, and we do not allow humans to read this data except with your consent, to comply with law, for security purposes, or where the data has been aggregated and anonymized. You give that consent to HubTub staff reviewing your channel data when you grant these permissions while applying. In HubTub Pulse, your channel data is shown only to you and to the Pulse users you share a channel with by accepting their invitation, and to HubTub staff only when you turn on “HubTub offers”, which gives that consent. If you connect an AI assistant to Pulse, we transfer channel data to that assistant’s provider only at your request and with the consent you give when you connect it, and only for the channels you connected yourself or whose owners allowed it; if you allow the people you share a channel with to read it through their AI assistants, we transfer that channel’s data to their assistants’ providers at their request, with the consent you give by turning this on. Either consent can be withdrawn at any time: by disconnecting the assistant, or by turning the setting off on the channel’s page.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and administer your account;
  • To calculate, process, and pay your Income;
  • To verify your identity and comply with KYC/AML obligations;
  • To provide customer support and respond to your requests, including with our support assistant (see Section 2);
  • To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud or abuse;
  • To improve and secure the Service;
  • To send you service updates and, with your consent, marketing communications.

5. Legal Basis for Processing

Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of our contract with you, compliance with our legal obligations (including AML/KYC), our legitimate interests (such as securing the Service, preventing fraud and answering requests from companies), and your consent where specifically requested (for example, for marketing emails).

6. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.

7. Sharing Your Information

We share information with service providers who help us operate the Service — including payment processors, identity verification providers, hosting providers, analytics providers, and the AI provider behind our support assistant (see “Support assistant” in Section 2) — solely to the extent necessary for them to perform those services. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to applicable legal requirements. We do not sell your personal information. At your direction, we also share Pulse reports with an AI assistant you connect to Pulse, as described in Section 2. Its provider is not our service provider and handles that data under its own terms.

8. International Data Transfers

As a global service, your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United Arab Emirates and countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we take steps to ensure an adequate level of protection for such transfers.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by applicable law (including accounting and tax record-keeping obligations), after which it is deleted or anonymized.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@hubtub.io.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit and access controls — to protect your information. You sign in to the Service with your Google account, so access is also protected by your Google account’s own security settings. To confirm every withdrawal, you enter a two-step verification code from an authenticator app linked to your account; we keep only what is needed to check those codes. Before your first withdrawal, and when your payout details change, your identity is verified through our identity verification provider. We will never ask you for your password or for a verification code by email, message or phone. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children, and channels or videos designated “Made for Kids” are subject to YouTube's own data-handling and monetization rules, which we respect and support when configuring your account.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email before they take effect.
